Summers in Hawai'i are all about finding a shady spot under a tree on the coast and kicking up my heels to read (or listen to) a fabulous book. I usually get up early and walk on an ocean front trail, then snorkel and visit my eagle ray, octopus and eel friends before I read and relax for a bit. I'm often also working on (writing) a book, but I cherish my down time when I can get swept up into a story of another place or time. Cheers to another wonderful summer of reading!
