Best of 2022 Historical Fiction

2022 has been another fantastic year for historical fiction, so it was hard to choose just six! Each of these books takes a different spin on WWII––we’ve got a sniper in Kiev, two sisters in the Dutch resistance, a spy in Portugal, a sewing circle in England, a codebreaker in Hawai’i, and a group of heroic nurses in the Philippines. THE DIAMOND EYE by Kate Quinn
