The Volcano House is a heartfelt romantic comedy with a volcanic twist.
THE VOLCANO HOUSE- a novel
Every time Amelia Sutton falls in love, she develops an insufferable case of hives. Needless to say, she’s developed a good way to cope – avoid love at all costs. When her boss at the small town book store falls ill on the eve of her Hawaiian vacation, she sends Amelia in her place. Instead of ending up at a fancy hotel on a white sandy beach surrounded by coconut trees, Amelia is disappointed to discover she’s headed for the Volcano House, a rickety old inn tucked away in the cloudforest right next to an active Volcano. Not only that, but the House is quietly famous for infusing its rooms and guests with a touch of magic, and is a wellness retreat for those in the know. When checking in, there is a mix up and another guest, Gabriel Hart – World’s Hottest Man – is booked in the same room. Less than gracious, he bullies her into switching and they start off on the wrong foot. Meanwhile, during the initial group meeting Amelia asserts that there is nothing wrong with her, thank you very much. Rosie, the hostess, has other ideas and works behind the scenes to help uncover the dark truth behind Amelia’s affliction and her untapped power. Romance, adventure, and magic ensue from there.
